My 63 Avanti does NOT have that! only the original on the frame rail. California did some strange things with Avanti serial numbers. There was something on (I think) the Avanti Group about the Avanti serial not having enough digits so they assigned a letter suffix. I have owned two that had an "A" after the number. In this case the replacement tag still shows the original number. Maybe they didn't know it was on the frame and placed one in the usual place from the title info. Paul Johnson |
