Museum rotate their items. Somee are asked for by their owners, some
are sold and some just become stale. We miss the bike as it was som
damn interesting for style and personal history.
We also have seen the last of a mind-1960s Daimlet two-tone grey
4-door, wit a dummy behind the wheel. In an unofficial pole, it was
voted least liked. Due to its size, there is more room between cars
now.
Te Chevy anniversary show looks good - vast improvement over the
dune-buggy / off-road of the last to9 months. Worth seeing.
There are also to other places:
1) Jim Cooley's WW1 and earlier cars with a fine, but small, display
and an owner who knows every nut-and-bolt. Five minutes from our museum
2) San Diego Collection - sales shop looking like a museum. Nice folks
and some very interesting cars, along the pre-war British and French,
Duseys, exoticss and so on. The occasional Studebaker shows up, as in
'57 GH. 15 minutes from Cooleys place and five minutes from my house.
Has web site - look it up.
