How do you install the 3rd spark plug on the passenger side?

It was EASY to get out but I CANNOT get that blasted spark plug back in
and I don't want to cross thread it.  I have used a u-joint and the
little hose trick but I CAN'T GET IT IN!!  Do I need to remove the
heater or the valve cover or both?  The dipstick tube, the heater and
AC hoses are conspiring against me!!

Of course, this is my "new" '64 Hawk.

Jack up the front end, place a jack stand under the frame, remove the pass
side front wheel&tire. Go through the opening in the inner fender just above
the upper control arm.

Biggest mystery to easy sparkplug service on a Studebaker is to  ensure
that the engine is cold.  I have never had any problem putting any plug
in and found that the hardest are the two rear plugs on the driver's side.

Oh, and have a shot of Pinch to relax any anxiety...

I got the drivers's side plugs in with only a minumum of blood and
pain.  In fact, for me, the rear 2 on the driver's side were the
easiest on that side--nearly a straight shot to 'em.

But I never thot of taking off the wheel.  Tomorrow I was gonna take
off the valve cover and if that didn't do it, was gonna do the heater.
Doing the plugs in this car reminds me of doing 'em on my old X1/9.
Had to be a contortionist there too.

As far as the engine being cold, it has been cold for 33 years!  ;-)

The thing that gets most in the way is the dipstick tube.  Remember
that the plugs go in straight.   That is in line with the cylinder,
they aren't angled at all.  The head bolt that holds the dipstick
bracket could be loosened to allow it to be repositioned slightly.
