I have 243 surviving Packard Hawks accounted for. Someone must have liked
them as that is a very high survival rate, probably higher than any other
hawk. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Personally I like them.
The story of how Hurley brought the Packard Hawk into existence is an
interesting footnote to S/P history.

Find another 51,and you'll have exactly half of what was produced...
GM has made its fair share of questionable looking cars. Two that come
to mind are the '74-76 Buick Riviera (the back end), and the Aztek.

They do seem to keep popping up. I would not be surprised to find that half
have survived. Given the offerings from GM and others back in 1958, Buick,
Olds, they fit right in. Of course the Edsel and the Fords of that era were
not so beautiful by today's standards. But at least they had individuality.
From what I know of it, Norton's car is as advertised. I was surprised to
see he still has the car as I believe it was offered for sale through a
Barrett-Jackson auction back a few years ago.
