Just purchased an Avanti water pump. It is in the mail. Would like to know if it will fit the pully arrangement on my 63 Hawk 289 2 bbl with factory air? John, do you know what size the hub hole must be to accomodate the Avanti pump. I could prepare some different pulleys that I think I have lying around before it gets here. I really wanted to use the heavy duty pump. I'm not sure if your belts will line up with a modified pulley using the Avanti pump. I think the hub is way longer to go through the thick cast iron Avanti pulley and into the fan clutch. > I hate when that happens.
