Just bought this one, it had been passed on by a half dozen local
folks even at it's fair asking price. It's a V8, AT, PS, PDB brake car.
It runs and drives, we'll add new white walls and detail her and that's
about it. Sal said the 25 year old gal that owned it for 7 years wept
uncontrollably over selling her car. Hubby stood near by saying things
like "It's only a car". Poor Sal felt so bad he gave her a big hug and
told her he understood her attachment to the car.

I think those vinyl buckets and rear seat with center armrest are just
about the best-looking interiors ever put in a Stude.  I believe that
very interior was only used in '65 Daytonas, and '64 Cruisers with the
bucket seat option.  That vinyl looks like leather and sure seems to
hold up better than other all-vinyl Stude interiors of only a couple
years earlier.  I think the only Stude interior I like better is the
'63 broadcloth--looks like out of a Caddy Fleetwood of the same
vintage.

My cousin has a 65 Daytona Sports Sedan with that exact same interior.
It does look nice, although his really needs to be recovered. His is
white with a black vinyl top; with rearl bad rust under the vinyl...

Always wanted one of those 65s ended up with a 64 r2 clone.
Wanna trade it for a 62 GT Hawk 4 speed car.

Normally I'd entertain the idea, but I'm presently about to experience a
cash flow problem if I don't sell some stock outright.<g>

I have a '65 Daytona Sports Sedan for sale if anyone is looking for
a project. The car is solid and straight. Right now it has a 307 in it
but I have an original McKinnon that can go with it.

For pics and more info email me.

The 66 Daytona sports sedan I have has a similiar interior.
Unfortunately I bought it when I was 18 and ran it hard and put it up wet.

Sal thought they looked so much like leather that he smelled them. <g>
