I agree, that could have been done better... and, still could, by the new
owner.

I don't think it's all that bad. It's clean, and fuctional, yet simple.
Not gaudy, too busy, or over done. The craftsmanship is excellent...
although it may not be, "How you would have done it." Tell ya what, you
build a dash from scratch, and see if you can equal or exceed the
craftsmanhip involved. We will be the judge of what you wanted, not you.
If you can do as good or better, I will apologize for my reaction to your
comment.

I know that the '47 did not come out with a bullet nose, if that's what you
mean. But, it certainly should have. WHAT AN IMPROVEMENT!! <G>
I do remember this car being on ebay a while back. Don't know if Coddington
built it or not, but it can eat crackers in my bed, anytime.

Maybe I over spoke a bit but when you come right down to it that is a
beautiful, dramatically styled car, and the dash just doesn't do it
justice. Yes, it's clean and functional, but its boring, and a car like
that just shouldn't have a boring dash.
I'd love to be able to build a dash from scratch, but I'm lacking a few
minor things... time, money, the right tools, a place to do it, and a
reason, I like the dashes I've got.

Works for me! Hope somebody else doesn't disapprove! <G>

I think they flattened the roof too much - needs the nice round curve
on top.

There really is a lot to like about that car, it's just as Sonny used to
say "I wouldn't have done it quite that way".
