notice the nice gauge glass, I think this is the one that was used on
both cars and M-trucks?

Hell - I'm pre-war many times:
Pre Iraq invasion and war on terrorism
Pre-  Gulf -War 2 and 1
Pre  Grenada (Pushing it a bit there)
Pre SEA war
Pre Korea
Pre-WWII.

Yep! I just got back from Houston, where I tried to re-up on the USS
TEXAS to take care of WWI part, but they told me that I couldn't do it
unless Rod Serling enlisted, too.
Galveston writer Hugh Power wrote a book on the ship - has some great
writing in it. Sort of as glorious as Mahlers 9th is to music when he's
talking about why he wrote it.
