It has been a long, hot dry spell of long hours and dry, 100+ degree days,
so the Studes have not seen much action lately.

They have hired a replacement for me, so things are lightening up somewhat.
Was a nice day today, so I drove 'Sheba to work this morning, came home for
lunch, and drove Goliath back to the office.  Over on the other forum,
somebody suggested that those that drive their Studes to work post pictures
of the Stude at the work place, so I shot some pics to share.  The last two
pictures are for the cover of the agenda/report to the commission for my
last commission meeting.

GREAT to see them on the road.....BUT ??? how about that expired
parking meter???

I'll bet there were many envious people that passed by wishing they had
a car/truck as good as you have! (like ME!)

<G>  That has been decorating my office.  One of the advantages of being
city manager... carry around a parking meter with you, and fine the last guy
that bitched at ya.  <G>  My job is about over... "Time Expired."  -¿Ö

Thanks for the kind words!  I did get a few chuckles as I walked past the
window and observed folks driving by, rubber-necking.

Nice pics Dave!

Congratulation on your latest loss of a job!  now you'll have more time to
devote to ........ yard work and DWG sales?

I'll probably go back to instructing driver's training.  It's something I
enjoy, and is much less stressful than my other "ritirement" jobs.  AND,
it's not full time... AND, I can say, "No, I don't want to do it this week!"
<G>

I'm directing my DWG sales towards Calvin.  I don't do enough to make it
really worth while, but I did enjoy having it around to provide to Stude
folks.

Busy street, parking is at a premium I guess. Were you the only one working,
or do you run the town?

Employees park behind the building, and there were other cars parked outside
the picture frame.  Also just outside the picture frame were 14 police
officers directing traffic around the block.  <G>
