Could well be as I was simply referring to the fact that the "P" prefix
was used on 259 cid engines during the 1955 model year.
I don't know what the motor number is on the Power Hawk but that number
might be close as the PH is a Commander level car.
Regarding the Packard wagon, I suspect that you got short changed as
shouldn't that be a supercharged 289?

I knew the s/c was not on it (was loose in the back w/the 2bbl
manifold/airbox/carb setup), but I didn't bother to look at the engine
number. I just assumed that it had been converted to a 4-bbl setup
(unpleasant surprise when I did look).
