Could be - Peugeot hd a plant at Ryton, a bit SW of Coventry, when I
was there and sponsored the City Football (Soccer) Club. The Shy Blues,
after being in the top division for longer than any other team, was
relegated down one division just after I left, afet hanging on a few
years before in the strangest conbiniations of games results one could
imagine.
The cars produced there ranged from mini POSs up to top-of-the-line
POSs.
The 204(?), which had gone out of production before I got there, was
even worse.

A hundred years ago, Peugeot built V-twin motor cycle engines.  The first
Norton to win the Isle of Man used one.
Now that everybody and his cousin is building V-twin heavy cruisers, maybe
we have something to fear from them in that department, too...

And Fiat had a DOHC engine in 1898.
Imagine if they had the metal technology back then that we have now.
