A 259 in a '62 Daytona isn't that rare. Studebaker George's nice '62
Daytona HT (with 289 and 4 speed) was originally a 259 auto trans car.
Maybe that's why 259 cars so rare, they've all been changed to 289's!

Aren't they rare? (or should be!)
Never did like to get one of them as a field car!

If it's been refinished, it's no longer "Original and Unmolested"!!!

I know...we'd had this discussion MANY times before but I couldn't stop
