Hi All,
Wow! Great Studebaker Swap Meet last Saturday! The goal of the two
clubs was to try and bring out stashes of Stude parts in the Midwest
that we knew were lurking because we are pretty far from the East &
West Coast meets.
This was a joint club swap sponsored by the North Star Chapter and
Badger Wheels Chapter and we did not know how many swappers or shoppers
would come out. The day started out dark, raining and windy. Given
the rain and wind our hopes for 25± vendors seemed optimistic. WHAT A
SURPRISE when over 42 vendors pulled in between 7 and 10 am. Several
vendors from all our surrounding States. Interested Buyers from South
Carolina, Texas, North & South Dakota, Illinois and Iowa were noted.
They kept coming until early in the afternoon and we estimated about
250± folks attended. We know the weather held back some vendors and
probably a bunch of folks that called off traveling in the weather.

All who participated are appreciated. We are looking forward to next
September.

There were some good deals to be had. The guy with the C-K fenders
sold them for $300 for the pair. He also sold a 4spd with the bell
housing for $50. I really didn't have to barter because the prices
were extremely reasonable.
