Paid for E-bay item using PayPal. I've never received the item and no reply to my E-mails by the seller or to the PayPay dispute. The question is what is the best way to try and get my money back? 1) file a PayPal claim and lose $25 in fees 2) Dispute the charge on my credit card 3) other? Thanks in advance for any advise. Ken Dispute it with your credit card company. Last time I had to do something like this I waited past the 30 day grace period with PayPal and was SOL. They'll tell you to take it up with them. Collect all your correspondence, submit it to PayPal and place the payment into dispute. They do their investigation and will credit your CC with everything except the $25 Fee. I just went throught this and have to say, PayPal impressed me. I assume no charge if not successfull. The USPS had electronic notification to expect a package for shipment but has no record of receiving it. The CC company was much easier and quicker to deal with than Paypal. Based on my experience with both, I would much rather just use my CC. |
