Just picked up my CE rear fenders produced by Rene Harger @Slick Street
Stuff and they truly are sweet! Cant wait to get them prepped and
installed. The Studebaker parts express was used as Ed Bauer from the
Salt2Salt team brought them back from Omaha to Minnesota for me.

Bob,

I have a trailer made from a '37 CE bed to pull behind my J5 and it needs
some fenders. Are Rene's reproduction CE fenders in steel or fiberglass and
are they stock size or widened for larger /wheelstires? Can you post the
price each or for a pair? Thanks.

Loy,
They are 'glass, and they are made with the inner portion 2" wider in
front and 1&1/2" wider in the rear (for wider tires). The mount bolt holes
(slots) are NOT there, so you can choose to locate the rear fenders in the
stock position, or in a wider position. The rear bumper bracket 'notches'
are there, so mounting the rear part out wider will involve a little
massaging to get the gap top the bumper bracker correct.
The fenders are also a multiple mold design that incorporates a wheelwell
lip that adds rigidity to the rear fender. The only thing that is not on
the rear fender that will be needed (and easily added by the builder)
would be the lower rear support pad for the lower rear fender brace rod
that runs to the frame.
The quality is superb and they are well worth the money.
Jeff (bought the first two pair out of the molds) Rice
