that he thought the clutch fans were larger in diameter than the stock
four bladers and that that was why I was having an "issue" with the R1
in my '55... would like to verify and if true order a smaller clutch
fan. but I don't have a four blader handy to measure.

Oh, I have a viscous drive fan in the '55 but that is on the standard
259 engine though and there is no interference.
