That seems fitting, Wayne, after what I heard on two different radio
stations, yesterday.
One talked about the miscarriage of justice to these two fine men,
including one nomination for officer of the year and so on.
The other talked about the past discipline actions for both, the
shells being tossed into a creek and the van being wiped completely of
all fingerprints.
Gues I'll stick with the newspapers.

The difference between the US & Mexico is that Mexican agents on their
southern border routinely assault, imprison, tortutre, & even kill illegal
entrants with the sanction of their government which recognizes no "rights"
for illegal aliens and very few for those entering on valid visas, most of
whom come to SPEND money, not take money.
That same government never stops demanding the "rights" due their citizens
who enter this nation illegally, even though many are involved in smuggling
or other criminal activity.
The attitude of the Mex govt. is that the gringo is illegally squatting on
land N of the border which the US stole from Mexico, so their criminals have
the right to come here to "re-occupy land that was stolen from Mexico" in
the words of a past president of that country.
Hispanic advocacy group MeCha displays the original Betsy Ross flag of the
US with 13 stars in a circle because they intend to drive the gringo back to
his oreeginal 13 colonies.
Naturally, the extremists who are known for violent demonstrations &
communist ties, enjoy federal grants & large tax-free donations from large
US foundations & corporate sponsors like Miller Beer & Ford, as do La Raza
Unida and Lulac.
