In the local paper there's a '63 Avanti, R1 automatic for sale for $5500.
The guy claims to have restored many cars in his life but now has a broken
back and cannot do the Avanti. He likes to talk! He says the car is 95%
complete but needs everything redone. I think if someone was ambitious and
was looking for a project, they could buy this car cheap, maybe $3000 to
$3500; anyway that's what I would try to buy it for. He is located north of
Vero Beach, Florida.
I have seen the car Dexter. It is a real roughie. It belongs to one
of my customers.
