You cannot possibly hate opera. If anything can get you going, this piece
from Wagner will do it

Symphony is different than Opera.
The only thing missing in that piece was a video of helicopters taking out
the Vietnam village.

...And "Die Walkure" is a symphony then?
Lee Aanderud - 22 Nov 2007 13:40 GMT
You tell me Maestro. I thought opera was more play-like and based on a
storyline and a symphony was either an orchestra or a soloist and an
orchestra.
Besides this whole subject of Paul Potts was discussed months ago shortly
after the competition happened.

I have to admit, that piece touched me somehow, have no idea what he
was singing about, but still grabbed me. Here's a runner up from the
same contest, the mothers in your life will love it. ( Terminally cute)

The name in GB is Pop Idol, and like "Sandford and Son" (Steptoe and
Son") and "All in the Family" ('Til Death Us Do Part") the name was
changed.
With "The Office," we kept the same name.
With "Family," the major change was adding the flushing noise - a
touch of genius. Edith was copied with only a change in face and
accent. Great shows on either side of the Atlanic.
