MMMmmmmmm   BBQ......

Stopped by Mount Airy (Mayberry) NC yesterday afternoon and evening.
Met up with Freddy and Barbara Badgett at a new BBQ place......( My
old favorite place had shut down)
And they had an exact copy of that Lexington style BBQ sauce I so
dearly enjoy.
Had a mess o' pulled pork BBQ and enjoyed every bite.
Also bought a couple half gallons of BBQ sauce to take home.
MMMmmmmm
Happy boy...
After the BBQ we went over to Freddy's lodge and caught up on all the
northern NC Stude stuff.
Nice evening....Had fun...Thanks Freddy and Barbara!

visits.

Thanks Freddy!
Good thing I bought two 'half gallons' of BBQ sauce.
I have a friend in eastern TN that I am stopping by to visit on my way
home.
When I told him of my find, he offered to swap me one of my half
gallons of BBQ sauce for one of his half gallons of beans.
Clear beans...
Gonna be a good week!

I was on a bonzai run to Mebane, NC last week and was pissed I didn't
have time to stop and shoot the breeze with Freddy and the Missus, but
gonna try to make a NC event here in the near future.

Jeff,

Come by Sylvester, GA. and get some Parker's BBQ.  You will not defile it
with 'sauce.'

I've found a place on the south end of Charlotte that's worth stopping in
for... I think they're only open for lunch.  One to put in the ol' GPS for a
reference:

Which way was the wind blowiong?  I seem to recall that once as I
drove past Mt. Airy, the wind from the stockyard was blowing across
the highway.  It didn't smell like BBQ sauce!  ;-)
