We had a good January meeting today in Macon. Foggy and drizzly, and tons of
traffic getting there, but
we were warm and cozy inside Ryan's.

Missed some who couldn;t make it, but turnout was better than I expected.

We had five Studebakers, and a great looking Plymouth, about a 1941, I'd
say.

Drove my '62 Cruiser from Sylvester, about 100 miles. Dang bugger got 19MPG
on the hiway. However,
that's just an estimate, because P215 radials are not as tall as the bias
ply tires the car's speedo is designed
for, so that car thinks it traveled further and faster than it really did.

My Cadillac, Camry, and all the other cars I've had, know it's 60 miles from
Sylvester to Perry, GA,
but the Cruiser's odometer thinks it's 70...

Ciao!

Sorry I missed it.
Was in Tampa.
Thought about returning through Macon, but traffic was nutz in I-75
(and we would have had to leave at 4am).
Think that's bad, traffic wise?
Traffic was even worse on !-95.
Either stopped...or 85mph...in the necked down construction zone(s).
Haven't seen so many NY/NJ license plates ever! (Even in NY/NJ <lol>)

Hey Dave.

Sorry I couldn't make it, as I was stuck at work.

But MANY THANKS for the gift, I really appreciate that.

Take care, and hopefully see ya at the next one.

Matthew
