I have an original type 1956 carter fuel pump (V8) that I would like to
restore.  Are kits available anywhere?

TIA

I have bought them from Fairborn in the past, although I was warned
the last time I bought one that prices were going up and that the new
kits would no longer include a replacement "stone" filter.  I believe
that they're also available from a place called "the cellar" - I used
to have a link for them but I'm typing this from the office (yes, on a
day that I theoretically took off.  grr.)

Thanks Nate, I'll send an e-mail to Fairborn and if you find the link to
"the cellar," please let me know.

There are issues with these.
Call Dave Thibeault for the latest updated version.

Yes, I think that modern fuels would not be too kind to NOS kits.

Good advice Bob!
