Yes, springtime is great. Will be in the low 80's today which will make
it perfect for doing some roof work on my sheds.
Might even change out the defroster motor in the '55 Prez as well.

Great day in North Carolina too!
After our normal Saturday breakfast at the cafeteria in town, I
finally got the Jeep washed. Took a load of trash and grass clippings
to the dump.
Then.......worked on my Champ truck all afternoon!! (rust
repair.......making good progress, actually made some somewhat
complicated pieces that fit like they should<G>)

Yup - 60 degrees in the Willamette Valley, and I drove my 61 around - even IF I have a leaking front seal in the tranny!

Got up went to the Dentist. Spending $7,500 on three new teeth and
almost a year in process, grrr! I'm not blond but still managed to
run into a pole with my face, breaking three teeth! I'm osteo, the
joys of aging.
Big deal right! But wait!
I knew when I was done that it was the day to go pick up the 36
Dictator after getting her reupholstered. I could'nt hardly wait to
see her. She's done and looks so original, down to the back seat "oh
sh.t" handles. I had to have them custom embroidered(sp).
Now we've got to find a good painter that can to do the interior wood-
grain painting on the window metal molding and on the front glass
hindge covers. I've discovered she's that her original color is olive
gray, DARN! I first thought she was a light green but again peeling
back all the carpet I found she was the gray. The green was just the
gray faded. She would look so pretty the light green. Honestly,
would anyone know if I went with green that, in fact that wasnt her
original color?

And Thursday will be even better!
Putting up some pasture fence.. Waited until this cool snap to do
it...
Want to get it done before it gets too warm..
Also putting in the new (used) shop lights...
Want then in before it gets too warm out (it gets hot up on the
ladder).
Here are some bizarro shop pic's...

I feel you! I still have a pile of fluorescent lights - shop lights
from my previous employer that I scavenged from the trash, and some
2x4 troffers that I got for free off craigslist. Been cannibalizing
the less attractive ones for keystones and ballasts as necessary.
Still have a pile of fluorescent tubes left over from the less
attractive ones that I threw out. It's recycling, and it's
ecologically correct :) Total investment, some gas for the pickup
truck and a unibit required to hook the BX up to one of the shop
lights as the knockouts didn't fall where I needed them.
So far my basement TV room and laundry room have both received
lighting upgrades, the garage is next!
