Was there ever a Studebaker museum or just an old car museum in Dallas
that once had a chopped top 61 Hawk?

There was a museum there during the 1975 IM, owned by a rather chubby
but friendly chap, but I don't recall that car.
That doesn't mean it wasn't there. Maybe the North Texas Chapter could
help you.

I remember now - the museum was the Pate Museum, IIRC
