I am being offered a Champion engine that was installed in a 109" series IIA
Land-Rover. It has a odd angle drive distributer that places the cap
parallel to the engine block, at a much easier angle to service. The numbers
that we were able to pull off it are; 1245805. Can anyone identify this
engine?
Thanks in advance,
Chris Houck

You might try emailing Bill Cathcart about it.
He is the guru of Champion engines. His address
is studebill1@wmconnect.com

Yes, that's it! How it ended up in a Land-Rover, that would be a interesting
story to hear.
Thank you for your help!
