55-63 all studebakers used the same key set up. These should be fine according
to my source.

Another thing I have done in the past to keep me going until I found the
correct ignition lock at a good price is to go to my local auto store (auto
zone, pep boys) and buy a bubble pack with a chryler ignition lock and key and
put it in the stude ignition tumbler.

BTW, I think all studes are olden.<g>

Not the same key, same make of lock. Different keys for different functions. 59
and 61 I just got have same key manufacture, but I can't start the 59 with the
61 key even though it fits in the ignition.

My 52 uses the old yale lock and my extra set of 48 keys will fit and start the
car.

actually given your criteria, you got Yale 2 times, and Hurd one
time.

Started with  Hurd in the late 40's, then went to the small
Yale's, then Hurd again, then a different Yale..

Michael, you have a 28 Dictator ?  Father had two of them.  Sadly he
sold them recently.  Something about the two he had were made back to
back.  Wonder if he still has any parts left.  Might be useful to you.
