"Houston, we have a problem." That's where Marilyn comes from,
Houston.
I'm from Boston. Hope Houston wins the play-off and Boston the series.

I still would have rather had the Braves win the NL. As a youth, I
always wanted a "subway series" - Braves vs Red Sox. It's fifty years
too late, though.

What a way to wrap up the series.  Coming back from 3 -0 and winning 4
straight.  AND I know NY loves the WS but I am kinda glad to see no NY teams
in the WS this year.

I gotta wait until tomorrow to see who Boston will play before I decide what
team to root for.

We won't know until the WS is over. The curse applies to them winning
the WS.
The BoSox have been in several WS since the Babe left, and I seem to
recall that it was SL who beat them in 1946. (Not that I hold a
grudged - we wanted the Braves to play them - it would be the first
Subway Series for Boston.)

The worst part of the NLCS this year
1.The Cards are in it
2.The Astros are in it.
3.There's no way for both of them to lose.

In 1917, my Father worked for a recently retired Red Sox pitcher.  My Father
has been a Red Sox fan ever since and he has never lived in Mass.
