Heh... I'm glad I didn't drive my Stude to work today.  I literally
came within inches of having some custom Porsche bodywork done by an
old lady in a Buick.  I saw her a quarter mile away, but that didn't
stop her from waiting until I was a couple yards from the intersection
to pull out in front of me...  Yoko AVS's are not the stickiest tires
in the rain BTW, and my threshold-braking skills are not the sharpest
when I got home from a job site at 1:30 AM.

I *really* hate DC-area drivers, with a passion.  Feh.

Obligatory Stude content: still trying to figure out when I can go
look at this convertible, but I talked to the owner yesterday and his
attempts to warn me of all the car's faults are only reinforcing my
suspicions that it's actually a really good deal.

N8,

I have seen the car a couple times and YES!!!   IT IS A HELL OF A
DEAL!!!!!!!!!   Just buy the damned thing and let go of the 56J.  You
have mentioned that you just cannot get 'motivated' to work on it so
let it go before it ends up like that GT Hawk that is a mile or two
from JP's place.  You know you are happier with Larks anyway <G>

BTW, while you are there, check out that truck real good for me.  I
have not had a chance to call him yet about its condition since I
always seem to get inside late.

Ah, if I can get my camera back (I lent it to Michele for her friend's
wedding) I'll take some pics for you.

Cool, I appreciate it.  More than anything, I am concerned about
condition of the sheetmetal as far as rust and damage goes.
