I'm embarrassed.

I let my SDC membership expire.  I'm not sure how it happened, I should
(maybe did?) get a notice in July, but if I did, I must have lost it.  I
lost no other bills during this period, but I guess it could have happened.
I did get notice in early Oct., and sent in my $$ at that time.  THEN, I got
an expiration notice, but no Oct. TW.  I have communicated with them, and
have learned that I will also miss the Nov. TW.  I am ordering replacement
copies.

Is there any mention in the Oct/Nov TW about elections for some zone
positions?  Aren't there some elections for some positions coming up?

I could be wrong, but I've heard rumors to that effect.  Since I have no TW
since Sept., I checked the center of the univerise on the Internet, and also
found no mention of such.  Maybe zone elections are not that big a deal?
<G>

Or, maybe I'm wrong, and there are no positions up for election.  I've been
wrong before.

Keep your edress with the membership group up-to-date and your
problems are less - unless your credit card is maxed out.

Good point, Karl.  Using your e-mail address is a good way to get things like
the renewal notice to you and it saves SDC a sizable amount of money when
figured over the membership population.

Titled "LAST CALL for Nominations"

Well Dave, at least you are consistent.
First, you snub the state by not renewing your license plates, and now the
SDC <lol>

Never forgot an anniversary.  There was this problem relating to a birthday
last year, however.  I don't understand why such things are so important,
but I've been told they are.

Such things do take a toll on a feller.

The October issue has the call for nominations.  The November issue has a
reminder about nominations and a notice about the special election for Atlantic
Zone Director.  All SDC Zones have one, or more, positions up for
nomination/election at this time.
