I've always hated cats, but when they bring you mice they killed, my heart
gets all a-flutter. The worry is working with the big door open, and the
neighborhood Rottweiler comes over to say hi.
The other neat thing was, when I was installing seat belts in the T-Cab,
cranking on the wrench, there sat the cat, on top of the gas tank, beady
eyes peering down at me...

Years ago we had a small, long-haired female cat that routinely chased all
dogs off our property including a 90-pound black lab next door. One day the
little Yorkie next door was bopping down the sidewalk minding his own
business. When he crossed the line on to our lot, Mai Tai (Hawaiian cat)
tore in to him. From that day on, when Yorkie came down the sidewalk he
carefully stepped in to the street, went by our place then came back on to
the sidewalk to continue his journey.
