Hi Marc,
im in inner Melb and have a 1990 Liberty. I have been taking mine to Subaru
Docklands...
As it turns out they have been very helpful with a number of problems from
my older subie.
I have two complaints...One their centralised call centre number for booking
services is shocking and two they have a lack of parts in stock for older
models.

Other than that i used to use Seal Motors in Essondon. He is a volvo
mechanic, but used to do a lot of work for the Essonden Subaru
dealership...anything that was too hard, i.e modded WRXs etc went to Seal
Motors, so they are fairly familiar with them and very very reliable.

If its AutoTrans, there is a Subie specialist in Blackburn. I dont have the
details, but if u need a trannie specialist let me know and i will dig out
the name and address

cheers
Andrew
