Vehicle Inspection in New Jersey

All -

It's that time again for the car inspection.  

I see by the NJ MVC website[1] that part of the inspection process is
to connect to the car's ECU.  Is this true?

Do they still disregard the dynamometer test because it's an AWD
vehicle?

Any other things that would be helpful?

AWD is still exempt from dynamometer. What's the problem with plugging
in?

There is only one 4 wheel dyno in the state from what I understand
