I noticed that my rear left tire was having significant uneven wear
recently. I had the 2002 WRX aligned in Feb of this year and got it
rechecked at the dealer. They say it's "within specs." Is this normal?
Maybe I should rotate my tires more often. They're Kumho supras.

I had my WRX for 3 years and the tires wore very evenly all around. I
rotated them regularly. I wore out the Bridgestones at 21K; replaced with
Pirelli which also wore evenly. Sounds like you have some kind of problem.
