Daimler Chrysler (american multinational company) is marketing the Smart Car
in South Africa with the slogan
"German engineering, Swiss innovation, American nothing".

Perfect!, this might work in Canada too (especially actually).

American tire companies still make nice (well, overpriced) tires.
Not sure how many are designed and made by their european divisions
though.
At least something is getty better every year. Partly probably
due to the good usability of the Tirerack site. It's been slow recently
though.
They must be selling a ton of goods. Did anyone else notice the
slowdown?
