Replacing a 2K Subaru Forester OEM Engine with Another

does anyone have experience and know the cost in US Dollar to replace a
2000 Subaru Forester engine with an OEM engine?  my subu forester is
currently in korea and eventually i would like to take it back home.

Just a guess but if the entire engine is replaced with a new in crate
replacement I bet $5K won't cover the final bill.
