I was wondeing if anyone has done a comparison of cargo space between the
older Impreza wagons and the 2008 5 door? I am interested in seeing how
these compare both with the back seat up and down.

I'm not sure, but your first step would be to compare the two cars
using Edmunds.com's web site.
