Generally speaking no, firstly because you can't get the necessary internal
pieces unless you make them yourself. Secondly because the often the main
pump assembly is a sealed unit. Thirdly because the main pump assembly
wears out internally.
Sometimes external parts (hoses, filters, cables) develop problems and can
be cleaned / fixed.
Just get a new one.
