Car Forum / Subaru Cars / September 200802 Forester Keyless Entry / Security System stopped working
Hello all, All of the sudden, I cannot unlock or lock the car with the keyless entry FOB and cannot arm the security system. It used to arm even when I used the power door lock and shut the door. No fuses are blown. Neither FOB works and one has a new battery so it isn't the battery. Any suggestions? Thanks. New batteries make no difference. I can get it to go with four or five hits standing right at the windshield. Which, of course defeats the purpose of a REMOTE door lock if you gotta stand right there for it to work.
