Well, recently, since March this year :) But, up to now there is no automatic transmission. Subaru Diesel drivers will have to shift gears manually. It's on sale in Europe and apparently they'r getting orders for all they can build. Latest in Oz (dealer mgr I spoke t last week) is that we're no closer to a firm date than we were in February Early to mid next year seems to be the best hope at present.
