Does anybody know where I can I find a replacement car stereo,CD, Tape
Player and Weatherband Radio ? The original had all this, but the cd
doesn't eject or play without skipping. Who made this car stereo? Can I
still get it new? John

I replaced the radio in my 98 Legacy with a Sony. Found it at Crutchfield
dot com. The best part of that shopping experience was that you can put the
make/model of your car in their site and they give you the radio choices
that FIT. Mine came with the subie electrical harness adapter and very good
installation instructions. Good luck!

I put a low-end Kenwood in mine, and the difference is staggering. Then last
year I upgraded the front door speakers...and the sound is awesome...but I
don't have (or need) a lot of volume.

Often, folks that have upgraded/changed their factory headunits will
sell their pull-outs. Though it's a stretch at the age of your car, I
would ask around the 'marketplace' or 'Buy-Sell-trade' Forums at both
www.ultimatesubaru.org and www.nasioc.com . Dunno if the unit can be had
from the dealer, try emailing Jamie at www.subarugenuineparts.com .
