Yes, if you search "impreza sti" in youtube you could see
how in a moment the car goes from low speed up to 260 Km/h.
Don't do that. Enjoy the car.

Hello to all, well it's been a month since the Sti has graced my garage. My
wife is getting a little tired of me talking about exhausts and cold air
intakes.
Ha ha........ well I guess it's better than getting a girl friend on the
side. LOL.  The car has 1800 miles on it now and the breakin is complete and
it really screams. I down loaded some very interesting info here at Subaru
drive performance magazine
http://www.driveperformance.subaru.com/Default.aspx
I didn't know that in sport # you can get even more power by holding your
finger down on the traction control button left of the steering column until
the tach symbol turns green. In an article describing the engine manegment
system this completely removes any torque limiting that may be present. It
only works when you are in Sport # I have tried it a few times on a long
winding country road where I live and I can actually tell a difference!!
Please try it out but for gods sake don't kill yourself.

Let me know what results you get.      I HAVE ADDED A FEW NEW PICTURES TO MY
SITE.

Best,

JC

I'm doing my first oil change at 2000 miles with the german castrol
synthetic. I found a scooby dealer in Conn that had plenty of the black
tokyo roki filters for around $6.00 a pop. I took 12 and the guy at the
sales desk said they are ordering one more palate from Japan and after that
thye will be gone so hurry!
