a couple of days ago , early in the am, I heard the Toyota's alarm
distinctive high pitch beep, like if someone was testing the remote on one
of my cars while I was waking up, but I couldn't see anybody nearby,
besides, I live close to a high traffic street so anyone could have
triggered the remote from a bike or a passing car, etc...
So then I though... "this is war"....so I got a copy of the "Toyota's Camry
2005 service manual" from a friend and follow the instructions on how to
deleted all the remotes doing a "prohibition mode" and then I programmed my
current remote and 1 more that I bought at eBay, this process also worked
great on the sienna. At this point the remotes that the thieves have are now
useless unless they program them with the master key they have ( I hope they
don't know the piece of cake procedure to do it) and after removing the
"club" from the steering wheel.

Next step is now to reprogram the ECU so that the transponder key that they
took is also inoperable, I guess that I have to do same thing as the
remotes, delete all the current keys and then add them again ,so I got from
eBay some "blank" transponder keys ready for programming. A friend has a
SNAP-ON scan tool, but it won't do 2005 cars. At the dealer they told that
is not possible to just reset the system... I don't believe them!" So I have
to find some nice guy that works at a Toyota dealership that would do the
reset on the ECU for some money or go with an "auto specialist locksmith
that has scan tool capabilities".

As long as they don't have the power to turn on the ignition it's ok with
me, I already emptied the cars from valuable things, like my Garmin GPS unit
in case they open the door and can't take the car. or they decide to use a
truck to haul it. I was thinking of putting some "poison ivy" on the door
handle but It'll be a bad idea if I forget about it....just kidding.
