I have a used Toyota camery 4 cyclinder, and i tired to go out and
start it but the key won’t turn and my friends were able to put it in
neutral to move it out of the way. What could be the problem?

Thank you for the help.

The steering wheel is up against the lock. Grab the wheel and move it a
little bit away from the lock...

Turn the steering wheel left and right while turning the key.
