Hi All:

I have a 2004 Camry more than 3 years with about 20,000 miles.
However, the speedometer did not function now.  I just wonder how many
Camry owners have the same problem.  I want to fix the problem by
myself.  If someone can give me some hints.  Thank you for reading.

It may still be under warranty. If its free repair from toyota, why
waste time doing it yourself.

It may be under the 5/60 plan and not the 3/36. Part of the powertrain
warranty. Check the warranty booklet for your area.

I remember replacing a few transmissions under warranty due to the nylon
gear that the speed sensor rides on being stripped.
