Does the infamous throttle hesitation problem created by Drive-By-Wire
exist on 5th generation 2AZ-FE Camry with 5 speed manual transmission?

Or does it affect both auto and stick shifts?

Have you had any TSB applied? Some TSBs won't be applied (e.g., your
ECU reprogrammed) if you don't complain that your car hesitates.
That's how TSBs work, and that's why I recommend all owners study up
and "anticipate" problems so you get fixes in time during the warranty
period by complaining in time.

So bring it to your dealer and complain that the car hesitates. Maybe
the ECU reprogramming will help.
