Have 83 Toyota Camry @208K miles, standard transmission. Fuel filter and
pump replaced in last three months. Timing belt about 8k miles on it.
Started fine this morning first thing - drove short distance, parked about
3/4 hour, started and drove again parked for 1/2 hour.
Then it wouldn't start - though turning over like normal. Tried
compression start, which didn't work. Replaced plugs, plug wires, rotor
and distributor cap. Still turning over fine, just won't start.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
STCook

Are you getting spark? If no spark with the new components you listed
the problem is likely the coil or possibly the igniter. Will it fire
up a bit if you spray some starting fluid or carb cleaner into the
intake? If it does then you have a fuel issue, possibly the fuel pump
again.
