Just bought a 04 5-spd Corolla.  The engine compartment is very
dirty...I like to leep clean like the rest of the car as much as
possible. On my other cars, I just took to the car wash,  sprayed with
degreaser foam and then rinsed with high pressure water.
Is it OK to do this with this engine, or is there risk of it
gettting into ignition components or something?   It makes sense to
cover the opening into the intake plenum, should anything else be
covered?  Can I take that top cover off of the engine and spray clean
there, too?
