Has anyone succeeded in converting his Camry to run on natural gas?
My '95 V6 sits in the garage, and I'd like to convert it.  Any advice?
Thanks, Herb

I think Honda sold or sells a unit-car, It wont be cheap or worth it.
Its drawback is the electric cost and cost of the pump to get enough
NG into your car to run. Propane on the other hand has been done
easily for years, my friend ran a propane chevy 1/2 ton for years in
the 60-70s. You have to research all costs.

No experience with natural gas, but my 1998 camry runs on propane for
460.000 km's now without problems.
It has a propane injection system. So the propane is injected as fluid (like
gasoline), but evaporates in the intake manifold ofcourse.

Propane sounds interesting.  How did you convert your car to burn
propane?
Thx, Herb

I bought a propane tank (60 litre) including injection system.
It's widely available in our country (the Netherlands) as probably in many
other countries.
Propane for car's is sold under the name LPG.
The system did cost me about 1700 Euro's
However the price difference between one litre gasoline and one litre of
LPG is about one Euro.
You need about 15% more litres of LPG compared to gasoline (because of the
lower heating value of propane -per litre)
