Not going to work, about once a month on rainy days. after getting off
highway at stop .  Also the last time, after stall, car was drifting,
brake pedal went to floor.  Any suggestions, thinking IAC or coils in
distributer and the o ring.

Rainy day- humidity= water under coil-cap,  , electrical issue.
Tighten cap, clean coil, put on new cap and wires , brake went to
floor because motor was dead, electrical issue

That model year doesn't use distributors but the stinking waste-spark
system. So the traditional moisture under cap would be out. But
moisture in other parts may cause you trouble. IAC is a problem after
Toyota cranked up cylinder head temp, but it will stall (or nearly so)
often when the engine is warm.

if it's the original IAC, it is suspect.
but when they fail, AFAIK, the weather doesn't make any difference.
