I have a 1995 CAMRY 4. 98K Miles.

I thought it was maybe a good idea to
change the front rotors at the is mileage ?

They do not seem to want to resurface them locally.

Is it worth paying the LOT extra for TOYOTA Rotors.
Or is there a good 3 party version worth buying.

Is there any reason you want to replace them? As long as they are
above the minimum thickness cast into the rotor it's fine. No
vibration when you apply brakes? No scoring deep enough to catch your
fingernail? Then there should be no need.

Across the pond here in the States Raybestos "red-label" service grade
rotor (or Raymold brand) around $15-20 USD is fine. If you need to
spend more than that, the next step is pretty much around $40-50 USD,
and in most cases we can get best-in-class Brembo.

On some model years there isn't Brembo available, Raybestos Advanced
Technology rotor is another good choice. You may have Forodo or
something like that in the UK, which Range Rovers use. At least the
pads are. These are made by TRW automotive. Should be good too. If not
maybe ATE by Conti?

Thanks for the comments.

No there is no vibration when braking at all.
Unlike a 1985 1600cc MR2 I had.
It was obvouse within hours of purchasing it used from Toyota.

The severe vibration came on after braking 60/70 mph.
They knew what it was and it turned out Toyota had a full life
warranty here on that model.. 20 K Miles was as far as ever got
to before they were changed again.

Back to the CAMRY.
Its difficult to check the rotors till I get wheels off.
And I did wonder with the 100K on if it was maybe better to just
do the front end up in the next weeks.
Rather than strip to check then have to order them at that point.
Would doubt have in stock.

Toyota want Circa £85 plus our VAT of 15% so thats £100 near as matters
so that converts to US$ 140 ish. ( per Rotor )

Dont forget this place is called Treasure Island lol
In passing I have always found the Brake pedal on this Camry always
to be a bit spongy unlike some cars I have owned that always had a nice
hard pedal even under braking.
Changing fluid has never changed that.
Toyota said it was part down to having ABS.
But I dont know enough about that to comment.
